      How many of y'all like Vegemite? Should we give it another try???

        Why did you guys put the butter on top?! 😂 you use it like you would peanut butter or jam (jelly) Loading the toast up with butter first helps the vegemite to spread so you use less of it and it’s much more palatable. If you decide to try it again, try it with cheese. Most Australian bakeries will make what’s called a “cheesymite scroll” which is kind of like a savoury cinnamon bun

        Ok so you need to put the butter on first and let it melt a little and then a THIN scrape of Vegemite!! You put too much on!!

        ok you need to try it again. One: Butter first never second holy shit. Two: THIN layer of vegimite, so that it mixes with the butter and turns a browny colour. THATS how its done. Like, you killed my aussie heart when you all had it the way you did

      The Vegemite thing is shitting me off hahahaha why did you all put butter ONTOP OF IT! Vegemite is litteraly a salt spread... its the easiest way to explain it. you put a decent layer of butter directly on to hot toast so it melts into the bread... then add a very SPARING amount, if you're not used to eating it, I recommend lightly SCRAPING a SMALL amount... like a 10-20c aussie coin size over a whole piece of toast... you should still be able to SEE the toast below. Then take a bite haha if you cant have butter. similar thing minus the butter. you should be able to SEE the toast below and just a SUPER THIN layer (more scraped on) and add decent quality cheese to take away the bite of it (makes it way better)

That would appeal to a huge range of people and I think it would promote accessibility to the food industry for people with allergies or even just people with food preferences! Love the try guys! 🧡

      Oath you need to retry Vegemite, but first you have to let the butter melt then add the Vegemite and for extra value I put sliced tomato and cracked pepper on my toast, its called a red back. Also the best sandwich you have to try is a Vegemite and cheese and then chuck a potato cake in it (potato scallop if your one of those people not from Victoria) the best!

      Western Aussie girl checking in. I remember going to the dams down south with my uncle and netting for Marron. We ate it all the time. And fishing at Salmon Point, where we caught its namesake. Also Vegemite correctly: toast or bread, butter down first (Not too much) then a thin layer of 'Mite on top. Again, not too much! I've noticed when any non-Australian tries it, they use enough to make sangas for a footy team! Then they instantly hate it forevermore, lmao.
