This is where it gets interesting!!! We are bringing back one of our fallen builds that we never had time to get back to. Sometime you have to take some time to think things through then go at it with a different approach. We know that there will be problems that try to get in the way but we won't let that ever stop us. Thanks For Watching And Enjoy!!!

    1. Bra dy

16:50 you can see the engine jack bleeding off lol

    2. DJ Strokes

Great videos watch everyday thanks for them

    3. kangoooo2000

You should have had the head resurfaced before putting the new head gasket in, this would have avoided you the issue had with the coolant still leaking through the cylinders. Love your videos by the way :)

    4. dogge15599

Take a regular car and insert a sports car's engine into it like a ferrari or a lambo engine

    5. Matt Fletcher

You have a wife you two

    6. Matt Fletcher

I want to be like you 🇦🇿🇱🇷 🇬🇧

    7. Techytech

Really like the honesty in this channel. It’s not my engine but was really rooting for your guys.

    8. zacquey dun

Yall should work on a Mercedes?

    9. Aaron Castellanos

Catching up on this series and I'm glad y'all put the numbers-matching engine back in. Should of been this way from the start!

    10. Matt Fletcher

    11. Jose Ahumada

You guys sure work hard but unfortunately not smart. Some research and advice from a knowledgeable person would’ve saved you so much time.

    12. Kristofer sjöström

dudes you have to mill the block to it´s aluminium and is probably warped, might as well take the whole engine apart. the crank and rod bearings dosn´t like coolant mixture and overheating either, ps you guys rock still big up from sweden

    13. Derrick Avila

So sorry guys, that auto correct is really annoying. I'm a born again christian and feel so embarrassed about that auto correct. Anyway guys just a rule of thumb when removing an aluminum or cast iron head, the procedure is to have the head milled so the head surface will be perfectly straight. This will ensure proper head gasket longevity.

    14. Derrick Avila

Sorry, stick in the mud. Stupid auto correct.

    15. Derrick Avila

Guys I hate to be a dick in the mud but you had to shave that head before your reinstall or you'll have premature gasket failure.

    16. Damien

Best way to learn is to try and sometimes make mistakes. It's also the most expensive way, but you will sure remember them for the next time!

    17. Toby Bishop

Always a good idea to check flatness of the head surface because its machined surface. So when you have a blown head gasket, you should probably get the head machined anyway to make sure and to freshen it up.

    18. Steve Bailey

No matter what happens, your enthusiasm just comes smiling through...brilliant!.

    19. Joe Bacon

      Try to switch heads

    20. Gu Lima

You forgot to "Resurface" the Head, probably that's why you get the water/oil mix again...

    21. DC5 _Will

      Please bring this car back

    22. Powertizing Advertizing

The thing a lot of viewers miss is, They try to figure it out as they go along, experience has always been the best teacher! I give them total credit for working as a team, they often show and say they made a mistake, and try again! ... EVERYONE OF US has made mistakes and can look back at things we have done and realize after the fact we should have done something differently. I totally enjoy watching the two of them! Keep up the great videos, and don't ever let anyone tell you that you cant do something if you determined enough!

    23. Rockso Dipso

YOu guys have a good engine with a simple sensor difference most likely the cam sensor, either get this sensor swapped out or use the harness from the parts car, I have swapped honda engines before and either had to change a sensor or a couple wires had to be swapped in the jacks for the sensor...get a copy of the wiring harnesses online and see what the differences are...dont buy a new engine you already have one at hand.

    24. csorrows

What is APR? Some Chinese clone company??

    25. headq100

if anybody you know is military or even ex-military, you can sign up for an account with militaryonesource.com and they have an extensive online chilton car manual library. best part, it's completely free! just a resource available to anyone with military, or i think even public servants might be able to go on there, worth checking into.

    26. andres lizarraga

      Get a new head

    27. nedj10

Why didnt you re-surface the head?

just put the other motor in and just get a flash pro and tune it

    29. MVP11489

      Its ARP, not APR lol

    30. Merica Made

leave it to a family member to f-up the churches money smh

    31. Joe Tucker

Are you trying to get sponsorship from ARP? I hope it works.

    32. Andrew Armstrong

Just take the head off of the 05 engine, send it to be machined flat and swap it out. That new head gasket will need changing but everything else new should be ok.

    33. jjrrxx1981

If you are doing a head gasket job and you are not replacing the pistons you should never clean them or the car will smoke after you put it together and run it . Learned it the hard way

    34. Afmet Ahmedi

You guys have warped head ot block. You should have had the block and head decked. Dont throw away the engine. It will only cost a couple hunded dollars instead of thousands for a new motor. Never use a wire wheel on the block to clean the gasket. You should have used a razor blade. Try again guys. It a good learning experience. Love the videos.

    35. Paul Fernandes

Check the piston return spring if there is

    36. Ain't Stock

Probably going for the 8th one 🤣🤣

    37. Justin Berner

Who ever hit the Ferrari is brain dead

    38. Najjon James

Put a civic engine in a then it well rep

    39. mustangmike420

You have to machine the head they warp when the gasket goes I did the same thing!

    40. protaphane

feels like watching mad max fury road: all those jargons - gas head gas kit war boy lol

    41. knightsun

      Are you guys twins brothers?

    42. Todd R

I like to see you swap something else into this car. An LS swap is usually the first thing that comes to mind when one hears “swap” but something different and off the wall would be even cooler. Maybe a 2jz, Coyote, or even a Hellcat would be neat to see. With that being said I know absolutely noting about S2000’s or the complexities of a swap like that so this may not even be possible or a completely stupid idea. It would make for some interesting content, test your skills, and take your car building to a different level.

    43. Renan Detuage

      keep it work boys

    44. Lord Skyline

You guys need to learn about the engines now! It’s time!!! Get some help from local machine shops and learn about engines this time! What I think is that you should swap the wiring harnesses and ecu from the wrecked S2k that’s the most sensible option here.

    45. ReviewandPlay 23

For some reason this video is recommending my video mnsel.info/video/video/09Lbq5PSa2Szqpg.html

    46. Robert Prout

Whenever you do a head gasket you should take the head to a machine shop and have it pressure checked and resurfaced . Also whenever you have antifreeze mixed in with the oil there's a good chance the main and rod bearings will need replacing . Also if you pull the head off a motor and see cylinders that are clean and carbon free that usually means water has been getting into the cylindet or cylinders.

    47. SalvageRebuilder

Cylinder heads and blocks may need to be resurfaced to restore flatness or to improve the surface finish. To seal properly, a head gasket requires a surface finish that is within a recommended range. If the surface is too rough, or in some cases too smooth, the gasket may not seal properly and leak or fail. Try to resurfacing your cylinder head and block.

    48. Wolfman

if u have the 07 engine u just have to change the 05 computer to the 07 computer and u can use the 07 engine and key if i was there i would change the computer and ignition switch from the 07 to the 05 or change the crank sensor out

      1. Wolfman

i have a 1998 Honda accord with the 2.3l i have redone the head gasket and reused the head bolts and i have not problem with my car just a few things to replace like the egr valve and knock sensor and all the brakes and wheel bearings i bought my car for 300 and it was not running and i got it running that night and drove it home not every car can use the same computer so u have to change the computer goonzquad

    49. Jorge Manriquez

My respects are excellent mechanics but in addition to being youtubers and we know that they earn a lot of money thanks to us that we see your videos you should help the people who live in the streets that do not have money to eat and now that Christmas comes from then it would be a good idea for you respectively because that youtubers do that help people, hopefully a video about this, good luck👍

    50. Chrisotpher Evangelista

      More s2000 videos!

    51. Savo Jax

      9:14 Max has gotten huge

    52. Andrew Airport Connect

How about an LS V8 conversion!!

    53. TheHarris1999

Props to you guys for taking a risk on MNsel and showing everything you’re doing. Fyi from now on if you ever pull a head off a motor. Even a perfectly fine engine. Still send it to a machine shop. Even if it’s fine after being inspected it’s better wasting a few bucks doing that than having to replace the head twice.

    54. Nazario a minaya

Puré in some blue devil lol

    55. Justin Bird

Love your courage to try stuff, and ability to stay positive through whatever happens.

    56. Brandon Raeder

Nice work!! Happy you guys picked up this project! Another skill to your list of accomplishments!

    57. Brandon G

You may have a warped head. If it is warped, nothing you do will fix it for that engine. You have to get it machined down.

    58. themacris

please put itb’s on it they sound orgasmic

    59. yung savage

Just get another motor for that year model

    60. SideKick Studios

Maybe just figure out why exactly the '05 isn't running right? I mean, people stick engines from completely different makes into their rides. Same car, a year difference and it's impossible? My guess it's just one or another of the ECU's that's not agreeing with some of the other ECU's. Maybe just swap all the ECU's from the 05 with the engine and get better luck that way? Should be easier and cheaper than rebuilding the engine again?
